The question was answered during the workshop organized by SOS electronic, Microsoft Slovakia and AAEON. It is easy.
The only available radio chip for LoRa on the market has been the SX1272/76 from Semtech up to now. Things have changed and company IMST came up with the new type of radio chip SX1280 which can work on 2.4GHz band and decided to use this chip for their new LoRaWAN Long Range module, the iM282A-L.
Things are getting smaller (except for cars) and this is true also for antennas. 2JE18 is a small surface mounted antenna with dimensions of only 40x7x3mm. It is designed for a surface mounting directly on PCB- and thanks to its excellent parameters, it is intended to be used in IoT devices.
Majority of IoT devices are nowadays secured the same way as regular e-mail. That means, nowise. Data misuse can be, however, very harmful to end users of the device.
SGPC3 is designed to measure the volatile organic compounds (VOC) concentration in the indoor environment. As is usual with Sensirion products, the sensor is calibrated and the signal processing is integrated directly on the chip.
IoT is already here and companies with little or no experience in HF design add wireless connectivity to their products. This attitude is risky but risk could be eliminated by observing some basic rules.
