It is a round five-position solution with one central select button in the middle and four navigational positions around it. It is available as a module as well as single parts for own PCB mounting. This solution is built on the Multimec™ 5G series switches. The outside diameter is 34,25mm.
For applications with limited space and demanding environment, APEM comes with a new, more compact solution - Ultranavimec™.
This series is designed for optimal functionality with low-profile switches giving the solution a distinct sound and fine tactile feel. Ultranavimec™ is based on Ultramec™ 6C series, the outside diameter is 22 mm.
Typical applications are medical equipment, joysticks, coffee machines, professional audio or broadcast equipment.

Furthermore, there are some customization options to adjust the solution to your panel needs. Illumination is achieved with chip-LEDs on the PCB, which makes it flexible and inexpensive. There are six standard cap colours, plus a few standard legend options with UV printing or hard paint laser marked to customize your panel design. However, you are welcome to request a custom colour and/or legend.
