Bezkontaktová skúšačka Voltfix bola vyvinutá na skúšanie napätí na izolovaných kábloch a vodičoch. Pri skúšaní nie je požadovaný žiaden elektrickýkontakt s meraným objektom. Takisto nie je potrebný ani druhý spoj, t.j. s nulovacím alebo uzemňovacím vodičom. Voltfix nevyžaduje údržbu. Je vybavený ochrannou izoláciou. Je napájaný dvomi bežnými batériami 1,5 V, veľkosť mikro (IEC LR03).
