Insulated cable lugs, closed and open non-insulated cable lugs and many other types can be easily crimped by means of a single set – Toolcraft 430461. It’s not „all-in-one“ tool which can usually handle a lot but nothing for 100%. We’re talking about proper crimping pliers with exchangeable jaws in a practical box.
Namely:
A: jaws for insulated cable lugs 0.5 …. 6.0 mm² (AWG 22-10)
B: for closed insulated cable lugs 1.5 … 10.0 mm² (AWG 20-8)
C: for open insulated cable lugs 0.5 … 6.0 mm² (AWG 20-10)
H: D-Sub connector) 0.5 … 10 mm² (AWG 22-6)
H1: ignition spark socket 1 mm² (AWG 17).
A big benefit of the set is the fact that no tool is necessary to exchange jaws and the exchange itself takes only few seconds. If you belong to those, who don´t need to crimp one given type of joint for 8 hours every day, then this universal set will solve a vast majority of common needs for crimped joints.
Moreover, 430461 set is supplied in a practical rigid plastic case, so all components are neatly and securely stored after work or during the transport. The attached pictures will probably give you the best idea about the whole set.
An alternative for coaxial cables is the Toolcraft 818645 set.
