RTC-1010 series design shares many features with AAEON flagship, the RTC-1200 series. It is IP65 compliant, can withstand drops from a height of 122cm, meets MIL-STD-810G standards, allows customization and has an operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C.
Tablet uses standard D-SUB9 connector for RS232/422/485 so you don’t need any special cables. USB interfaces uses type A connector, which is more rugged as micro USB used by consumer tablets, and one type C connector.
The tablet uses a standard DSUB-9 connector for RS232/422/485 so you do not need any special cable. RS232 is often used in the industry to configure devices. RS-485 is physical layer for fieldbuses such as BACnet, Bit-Bus, EIB, LonWorks, ModBus, P-Net or ProfiBus. USB interfaces use Type A connectors that are mechanically more durable than microUSBs used in non-industrial tablets, and one type C connector. Of course, the tablet also has an RJ-45 Ethernet connector.
You can work with the touchscreen wearing thin working gloves such as Hyflex. It has built-in speaker but no microphone. For calling, you can use a Bluetooth/USB headset or headset with the built-in mic via the audio jack.
