The Wiznet W6100-io, W5500-io, and W5100S-io network modules feature compact dimensions and incorporate the W6100 (W5500, W5100S) chip with HW TCP/IP and built-in PHY. These plug-in modules are ready for immediate use, significantly simplifying PCB design by utilizing an SPI interface.
The W6100-io plug-in module is the ideal solution if you want to quickly develop your systems enabling Internet connection. The W6100 includes HW TCP/IP supporting a dual IPv4/IPv6 stack, adding IPv6 functionality based on WIZnet's patented HW TCP/IP technology.
The W6100 is Wiznet’s latest HW TCP/IP chip, supporting TCP/IP protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPv6, IPv4, ICMPv6, ICMPv4, IGMP, ARP, and PPPoE. Additionally, it includes 10Base-T/10Base-Te/100Base-TX Ethernet PHY and Ethernet MAC Controller, making it suitable for embedded devices with Ethernet connectivity.
