Currently, we often need to measure people's body temperature at entrances to various buildings. There are several ways to do it, but most often we use a hand-held, non-contact thermometer, such as the handy thermometer YHKY 2000.
A more convenient, but also much more expensive solution is a measurement using an IR camera with immediate evaluation and display on a monitor. The disadvantage of this "high-tech" solution is the price and also the need to place the camera, PC and monitor in a suitable place, which is quite difficult in many small shops.
However, there is an elegant compromise. It is the measurement with an automatic IR thermometer K3 IR, which does not need the help of an operator and in case of increased temperature, it significantly indicates it - optically and acoustically.
Quick measurement, accurate feedback and fever alarm
It works really easily. Just approach your face to the thermometer at a distance of 5-10 cm, and it will automatically measure your body temperature. The measured data is displayed on a sufficiently large 3-digit LED display and the green LEDs on the sides light up. If the temperature is higher than 37.3°C, the thermometer emits an acoustic warning tone and the LED lights up red.
The K3 IR thermometer is supplied with a USB cable (USB A/micro USB) without a power adapter and can be powered by any 5V USB adapter with an output current of at least 1000 mA (e.g. from your unused older smartphone). You can also use a Li-Ion 18650 battery (not included) for power supply, which lasts up to 1 week being in operation, depending on the intensity of use, of course. If you insert a Li-Ion battery into the device, it will be charged via a USB cable and then you can use the thermometer on the battery.
You can place this thermometer on the wall but also a standard tripod, as it has a 6.3 mm thread on the bottom side. In case of a tripod solution, use a type that has only a small pad or a ball joint, as the USB connector is close to the tripod thread on the bottom of the device.
