Terminal blocks for DIN rail enable reliable connection of two or more conductors while maintaining maximum order in the distribution box. There are terminals for different conductor diameters and different permitted current loads.
According to the connected conductors’ function, different colours are a matter of course - phase, neutral or protective conductor. The terminals are attached to the DIN rail TS35 or TS15 by a simple snap. Disassembly is also very fast.
Cage Clamp System vs Push-in Cage Clamp
The conductor is attached to the terminal with either the Cage Clamp system or the newer Push-in Cage Clamp without using a screw. Both methods ensure very reliable contact, saving time during installation. The disassembly of the joint is just as fast.
The difference between the two technologies is that to insert the conductor into the CageClamp terminal; it is necessary to "open" the terminal with a screwdriver or similar tool, while when talking about Push-in CageClamp, you need to push the solid or stranded wire with an end sleeve into the terminal. The tool is only required for a stranded wire without a sleeve.

End and intermediate plates are used to end a series of terminals on a DIN rail safely. The connection jumper bar conductively connects two adjacent terminals. When choosing, pay attention to the correct size according to the size of the terminal block.

TOP JOB S Series
The most popular Wago terminals are from the TOP JOB S series with the Push-in CageClamp system, which are about 30% smaller than those from the previous generation of TOP JOB with the CageClamp system. But both series have their fans.
The latest additions are the TOP JOB S series terminal blocks either with a lever (series 2102, 2106 and 2116) or a button from the 2200 to 2216 series. The lever eliminates the need for the tool when inserting and removing (it can also be handled with one hand only), and the button increases comfort and visual control when using the tool.
We recommend choosing the 260, 261 and 264 series of terminal blocks when you don’t have bigger space. They have a wide range of mounting options - even on small DIN TS15 rails, on the panel with screws or snap-on feet. It looks good again if you use Wago series terminals with side conductors of the 279, 280, 281 and 282 series in the distribution box.
