Three series of Traco Power DC/DC converters with a wide 12:1 input voltage range for railways and transportation systems
The THN 10UIR, TEN 30UIR, and TEN 40UIR are high-performance DC/DC converter series from Traco Power with a very wide 12:1 input voltage range and output power of 10, 30, and 40 W.
These compact, fully encapsulated converters offer increased resistance to shock/vibration and thermal shocks. High efficiency of up to 90% provides an effective operating temperature range from –40 to +70°C (up to 80°C with a heatsink) without de-rating. Thanks to the special connection of the filter capacitor, Traco Power DC/DC converters meet the requirements for extended hold-up time without the need for bulky input capacitors.
Certifications according to EN 50155 and EN 61373 qualify them for railway and transportation systems. Additional qualification for fire behaviour according to EN 45545-2 and safety approval according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 support the potential application compliance testing.
All models offer input-output isolation voltage of 3,000 VDC and are equipped with under-voltage lockout, remote on/off, and adjustable outputs, making these DC/DC converters suitable for all rugged applications.
