When applying a protective varnish or conformal coating to a printed circuit board by spraying, it is necessary to protect the sensor membrane from contamination. Sensirion recommends using a sensor with a protective membrane for these applications or protecting the sensor by applying 3M Kapton® Electrical Tape 92.
