Perhaps in every electronics production some kind of spray is used (for contacts, cleaner, lubricant, anti-corrosion agent, PCB coating,...). If your annual need is just few pieces, it´s probably more convenient for you to use handy 200ml packages (cans). However, if your consumption of sprays is relatively higher, then in majority of cases it´s more preferable for you to use bigger 400ml cans, which are more cost effective - in average 15 to 35%.
Besides financial savings, it´s also beneficial from the environmental point of view because of less waste ( to produce 400ml can, only about 1,3-1,4x more of packing material is used in comparison with 200ml can).
From the most popular sprays you can find in 200ml and in 400ml packages we can mention KONTAKT 40, KONTAKT 60, KONTAKT 61 and KONTAKT PCC.
First 3 types are intended for electrical contacts care and KONTAKT PCC is a cleaner and flux remover for printed circuit boards . To use protection agents for contacts and PCBs is definitely worth. You gain a longer life of contacts in switching components or connectors, low and stable contact resistance without leakage, corrosion protection and lower mechanical wear. Also you can often restore contacts by using appropriate agents and avoid expensive component exchange.
Sprays KONTAKT CHEMIE are made of high quality substances and they have a high active product content in an aerosol can. They are well proven for industrial use and they represent a cost efficient solution for longer lifetime and bigger reliability of devices.

Kontakt 40Kontakt 40 forms a thin, virtually invisible fluid film of mineral oil. It has a low-viscosity, therefore it gets into fine pores and gaps and penetrates through dirt and corrosion layers. KONTAKT 40 is also suitable for the recovery treatment of components, damaged by water, because it has excellent water displacement qualities. Parts which are wet from preceding processes can be dried and corrosion-protected in a single operation. KONTAKT 40 is suitable for the corrosion protection of electrical contacts in low-voltage engineering. It will do an excellent job in any mechanical workshop as a lubricant and corrosion protector and for loosening corroded screws and other fasteners. KONTAKT CHEMIE Kontakt 40 is also used as a cleaning and conserving agent for stainless steel and aluminium surfaces. |
Kontakt 60KONTAKT 60 is a contact cleaning oil which can be used to restore corroded electrical contacts. In addition to the corrosion-dissolving components, the spray contains a solvent mixture which also removes greasy or resinous residues. It is a convenient combination, because problems with electrical contacts are caused in fact not just by corrosion but also by polluting gases which form coatings of low electrical conductivity on the contact surfaces ("polymers"). A few droplets for each pair of contacts is generally sufficient. If contacts are readily accessible, they can be carefully wiped, for example, using cellulose, leather or cotton swabs. If it is impossible to provide mechanical support, allow KONTAKT 60 some 10 to 15 minutes to penetrate. Optimum results are obtained, if dissolved dirt and corrosion products are then rinsed off with KONTAKT CHEMIE Kontakt WL. After that, KONTAKT 61 is applied as a protective film. KONTAKT CHEMIE Kontakt 60 works in many cases even without after-treatment. |
Kontakt 61KONTAKT 61 is a mineral oil based contact cleaner for all types of electrical contacts. Cleans, lubricates, displaces moisture and prevents corrosion. Builds a thin protective film, preventing corrosion and wear. The solvent mix in KONTAKT 61 dissolves greasy dirt, oil and resinified deposits, forms a sliding and lubricating film, displaces moisture and protects against corrosion. It can be used as a contact cleaner, except cases when contacts are corroded, in that case we do recommend KONTAKT 60. KONTAKT 61 is very suitable to lubricate sliding and plug sockets, when it reduces the susceptibility to wear of contact surfaces. KONTAKT 61 is an ideal after-treatment after using KONTAKT 60. When comparing KONTAKT 40 and KONTAKT 61, KONTAKT 40 has somewhat better corrosion protection properties and KONTAKT 61 is better in electrical properties. |
Kontakt PCCKONTAKT PCC is a cleaner and flux remover for printed circuit boards. It has a high cleaning power due to its special solvent mix, with quick and residue-free surface drying. Firm and time gaining cleaning due to the brush-type spray head and is compatible with markings and colour codes on PCBs. Using KONTAKT PCC you get clean printed circuit boards and hence a high surface resistivity, low leakage current and good adhesion of conformal coatings. The aerosol can be used in an upside-down position (360° valve) for hard to reach areas. As carbon dioxide is used as propellant it was possible to fill the aerosol can with ±95% active product. |
