Maintenance, inspection and assembly of switchboards are part of the activities of our customers. Therefore, we would like to introduce a "third hand" to help servicemen with their everyday work. It is a small equipment which is surprisingly helpful and highly efficient. It is a magnetic probe MP- 1 with the magnetic tip for 4 mm safety measuring cables from Fluke.
The magnetic tip ensures a firm contact with a ferromagnetic metal surface in areas with limited access, such as carbon steel bolts in current devices (RCD) or circuit breakers. The probe is suitable for recessed screw holes with a diameter ≥6 mm. The probe has a classification of CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V with a maximum current of 4 Amps. The product has an optimum holding power with M5 screws with pan head. They can also be used together with various screw heads or with metal contacts made of magnetic materials such as carbon steel alloys.
Please check compatible Fluke multimeters below, we have different series in our stock, e.g. Fluke 28x, 17x family or Basic line 11x.
MP–1 can be used also with multimeters from other vendors, the only requirement is the compatible measuring cable with 4mm banana probe e.g. Voltcraft MS-5.
