Kingbright’s new KA-3529 series combines the wish for a super-bright LED with a familiar standard package. There is no difference in the package of the new KA-3529 series and the established KA-3528A series (PLCC-2 package). A small modification in the leadframe makes it possible to operate this SMD-LED with a maximum forward current of 150mA. With such a high forward current it is possible to achieve higher luminous intensities than the standard KA-3528A series. Kingbright’s new KA-3529 series is available in red, green, yellow and blue colour.
The Red SMD-LED KA-3529SES-L1 for example has a typical luminous intensity of 6.000 mcd @ IF 150mA.
