Finder 7U. Safe Power Socket in Your Distribution Box

Finder’s 7U Series Power Sockets 

The Italian company Finder has introduced new power sockets for distribution boards, available in DIN rail or panel-mount versions with screw terminals. Finder 7U Series power sockets are standardly rated for 230 Vac and a current load of up to 16 A. 

There are two versions of Finder 7U Series power sockets available: 

• 7U.00 with a universal socket of SCHUKO and Italian Bipasso 10/16 A types
• 7U.01 with a French-type socket featuring an earth pin

Both versions of Finder 7U sockets are manufactured in two variations:

• with a green LED for voltage presence indication or without an LED
• in gray (RAL 7035) or yellow (RAL 1021) colour

“The yellow colour of the socket is required by the DIN VDE 0105-1 and IEC 204-1/EN 60204-1/DIN VDE 0113 Part 1 standards and also by the VBG-4 safety regulations for cases where the socket intentionally remains energized even when the main switch in the distribution board is turned off” says Pavol Buhla, manager of product specialists from SOS electronic.
