We listen to your needs and extend our product range with unique LoRaWAN modules from German company IMST.
IMST GmbH is a German research-driven company that is active in the field of industrial applications, especially wireless technologies for the industry. The company was established in 1992 and currently employs more than 150 highly skilled electronic engineers. Their LoRa/LoRaWAN modules are very successful because of high quality and price/performance ratio.
The radio module iM880B-L can be ordered with a pre-programmed embedded protocol stack in two options:
This WiMOD LR (LongRange) Base firmware is a collection of functionalities and applications like RadioLink Test, SensorApp., DataLink Service, etc. embedded in powerful WiMOD OS operating system. It does not include any LoRaWAN functionalities. The WiMOD LR HCI interface gives users direct access to many radio parameters.
iM880B-L_LoRaWAN:
The LoRaWAN protocol stack, specified by the LoRa Alliance, is based on IBM’s LMiC and IMST’s WiMOD-OS. It enables Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) for Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Machine-to Machine (M2M) applications and supports Direct or Over The Air (OTA) activation. It comes with the WiMODLoRaWAN™ HCI interface and allows easy configuration.
It is a compact and affordable radio module that operates in the unlicensed 868 MHz band and combines a powerful Cortex-M3 controller with LoRa™ SX1272 transceiver by Semtech Corporation. It has as an extended temperature range: -40°C … +85°C.The module is with pre-programmed LoRaWAN protocol stack.
The iM880B-L is for applications requiring ultra-long range and reliable communication. Thanks to the implementation of many advanced technologies, it is possible to achieve sensitivity at -137dBm and create a durable and reliable communication link.
• Frequency: 868 MHz
• Range (LoS): up to 15000 m
• RF power: up to +19 dBm
• Sensitivity: up to -137 dBm
iM881A-M
This module is pre-programmed with the LoRaWAN™ protocol and is specifically designed for battery driven devices. It consumes only 38 mA in transmit mode with +14 dBm and 25 mA @ +10 dBm. (LoRa Alliance™ certified protocol specification)
iC880A
It is the RF frontend of a LoRaR gateway. This concentrator can receive data at all frequency channels simultaneously and can demodulate the signal without the need to know so-called “spreading factor” of the sending node.
