New switch-mode stabilisers Traco TSRN-1 for positive and negative output

TSR-1 series already found many supporters, thanks to its features, like ability to directly replace linear stabilisers, high efficiency and a functionality even without input and output capacitors. Novelty TSRN-1, with improved features, spreads possibilities of usage of these regulators (DC/DC modules).

Similarly like TSR-1, offers TSRN-1 a direct compatibility (pin to pin) with 78xx stabilisers, contains filter capacitors, doesn´t require heatsink, has a shortcut protection and many other positive properties. Novelty is, that in comparison to type TSR-1, it offers a full load operation up to +70°C, and a derated operation up to +85°C, and moreover it contains a thermal protection, thus providing a higher protection to powered devices in case of unpredicted overheating of a device. For some applications, it can be an advantage, that TSRN-1 has also a wider input voltage range – up to 42V.

SMD version TSRN-1 SM offers a possibility to adjust output voltage and it has a 1 extra pin for remote control (on/off) for decreasing of power consumption. TSRN-1 SM series is available in 6 versions, with a wide range of output voltage adjustment. Required output voltage is obtainable with more types, it is only necessary to choose, which one is the most suitable for your application, mainly depending on the input voltage.
