RF (Radio Frequency) modules are electronic devices that enable wireless communication between devices using radio waves. These modules are often used in applications where it is necessary to transfer data over short distances without the use of cables.
Such a module can perform the function of only a transmitter, a receiver or it can function as a transmitter and a receiver (transceiver) at the same time. It is most often intended for installation in devices. It finds its use mainly in devices such as remote-controlled gates, external sensors of meteorological booths, and the like. Majority of modules from this group work in the Sub-GHz ISM band.
