DIN rail enclosures create a standalone group among enclosures as they differentiate from usual enclosures by one significant element – they contain a DIN rail mounting clip integrated on their rear side.
As these enclosures are almost always placed in a closed distribution box, they are usually not subject to such high aesthetical requirements. Maybe that’s why we usually don´t find elegant aluminum black-anodized enclosures within this group but mainly grey, black or green plastic enclosures.
Much more essential is the practical aspect of the enclosure, its construction, possibilities of PCB mounting, accessories, ventilation, openings for terminals, etc. Of course, even among DIN rail enclosures, we can find many various modifications like transparent red or smoked lids (top covers) and others.
Our offer of DIN rail enclosures is continuously growing. The latest among them are various selected types from company Elbag. These enhance our offer with slightly different shapes, including significantly “flat” ones of the MX/BMX series providing a lot of space for display, switches, and LEDs on a front panel.
Basic width unit of DIN rail enclosures is so-called „module“, what represents 17.5mm. That´s why, for example, the 4-module enclosure (MR4) has a width of 70mm.
Selected types of Elbag enclosures are already in our stock. All other versions and series can be supplied upon request in a short lead-time and under favorable conditions.
