Diotec Enters the IGBT Market

An insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) combines the efficiency of a MOSFET with the high-power handling of a bipolar transistor on a single chip. This makes it a top choice for switching applications, handling voltages from 600 V to 1 200 V, currents up to 150 A at 100 °C, and switching frequencies in the tens of kHz.
