Soldering station SBL 530 is over, the HBT-1050 is here

Soldering station Diametral SBL530.1A has earned quite high popularity during a long period of its production mainly thanks to its reliability, as it was designed for a really intensive work, not only for a hobby usage. Czech company Diametral now comes to the market with a new station, which reflects trends and requirements of users regarding ergonomics and user functions.

The new station HBT-1050 catches at first sight by its unusual – so to say industrial design. Main innovation is in the „core“ of the station – a control unit. A microcontroller and a graphic display enabled to add multi-language menu (CZ, DE, EN), comprehensive indication of the station status and also a simple and intuitive control.

HBT-1050 features these functions:
• three fast temperature presets (user defined)
• Sleep function, when a tip temperature will drop down to 1/2, (manually or after a user defined time 0-240 min)
• Auto Off, after a user defined time (0-240 min, without necessity to use Sleep function)
• Lock – to prevent changes to settings by user (schools, production, ...)
• dual temperature display – real and set
• TURBO – for a fast reaching temperature up to 530°C – for occasional soldering of extraordinarily big joints with a high heat dissipation (not intended for common use)
• temperature calibration (± 50°C)

Also useful in praxis can be a possibility to change the display brightness and a “dual” wat of switch on/off – by means of a push button as well as by a mechanical rocker switch on the rear side. At usual work, it´s useful to switch off the station through a push-button, for a long-time switch off (over night) and to reach a zero power consumption it´s better to off the station through a rocker switch. HBT 1050 also meets the last (or first?) basic prerequisite of usability for a professional production - ESD safety. The soldering station uses soldering tips of the IST series, while many of them are already in our standard stock offer.
