With the new line FOX FRIWO presents power supplies in the range of 30 W which meet the more stringent environmental requirements of the US Department of Energy (DOE Level VI).
Depending on the requirements, the units are available in various versions: The standard portfolio contains nine voltage variations of 5 to 48 VDC as desktop power supply, interchangeable plug system and plug-in power supply with either European or US bottom. The units are available for ITE and medical applications.
All FOX30 units feature low power consumption in idle mode and high efficiency when running. In addition, the units have a wide range input of 90 to 264 VAC (50 to 60 Hz) and can be used between 0 to 45°C. Other benefits include the protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage.
For medical applications, the units meet the requirements of 2xMOPP and feature a minimum leakage current of ≤ 10 µA.
In addition to the energy efficiency standards DOE level VI and ErP level V, the product line is certified in accordance with IEC/EN/UL 60950 or IEC/EN/ ANSI/AAMI ES60601 respectively.
The very popular FOX family of power supplies comprises of 6W, 12W, 18W and above mentioned 30W models. All models are available with different input plugs and their flexibility is exceptional, because the secondary connector is also selectable from different sizes and shapes.
Probably the most important feature of all FOX power supplies that they are instantly compliant to the DoE environmental requirements Level VI, this is a mandatory requirement for all power supplies imported to US starting 2016.
